First City Hall - Bus Depot
126 SW Second Street
The first City Hall was built approximately 1903 and was located between 1903 through 1910 at the current 126 SW 2nd Street location. The brick building had two large windows and a recessed entrance. In 1910, a new City Hall was built at 4th Street and Dewey Avenue. (See Site 34).

Approximately 1930, a new building was erected to the immediate left of the old city hall building (current address 128 SW 2nd Street) and was commonly known as the city's bus depot. Eventually, this building was expanded and remodeled with stucco, probably around the same time the AT&SF Depot underwent a similar renovation. The building expansion to the right utilized the east and west walls, and floor of the original City Hall building. Note that the two wall-related corner stones are still visible above the current sidewalk on the right half of the current building.
