On the southwest corner of 2nd Street and Cherokee Avenue is a highly streamlined building influenced by the "Moderne" movement of the 1930's. This period of time emphasized horizontal lines in the design of buildings, replacing the vertical emphasis of earlier years. This building is beveled with a drive on the northeast corner, suggesting that it has always been associated with the automobile business. This building was built in 1937.
