The Simons-Foster Building has housed a number of businesses since its inception. C. R. Hall came from Missouri in 1905 and established a jewelry store there. In 1915, J. C. Duffendack temporarily joined Hall - a partnership which lasted for 35 years. From 1913 to 1951, Frank Griggs, who documented much of Bartlesville's history on film, had his photography studio on the second floor. Carmen’s Shoes, then Crum’s Shoes, and then Denton’s Fashions occupied the east side of the building. Heine Hardware was also in the east portion of the Simon-Foster Building for a number of years. The building was built at a cost of $11,000 ($3,000 for the lot and $8,000 for the building). The first floor is divided into two separate store fronts, with an entrance to the second floor between the two. The parapet is stepped with an inscribed cartouche with the date. There are dentils accented with limestone. Built in 1906.
